I can get them for you

The bloke who does the Polycarb windows for the Anglia does all sorts

Do you just want the front two ?

And do you definately want Perspex ? rather than Polycarb ?

The perspex gets scratched much easier

Let me know and I'll get you a price

Cheers Neil

Are these windows just as secure as normal ones? How about that slide window-would it be easier to break in or not?

Thats a security question so Im not going to answer.

But is a glass window secure if you throw a brick at it ?

Same as with these then really - if someone wants to get in then they will, no matter what is there

From what I have seen of these the slide mech seems very easy to open from outside the car, but I have only seen these on one road car and thats what made me think they are not popular because of this reason. Is there some sort of catch inside to stop prying hands?!
Are there any downsides to these on road cars?

Yep

Well they are fixed in position so you can't wind them down, they will scratch even if the wind blows on them at the wrong angle, they will make the car hotter inside and therefore more likly to steam the windows, and if it rains hard they leak.

The only advantage I can see (and I used to run them) is they weigh next to nothing compared to a glass window.

I thought there should be but having only just caught a glimpse of these in the flesh I werent sure mate! They dont sound too appealing now-on a road car at least! What sort of weight saving are we talking? Is it noticable?!
