Right guys, picked up a zetec engine for a conversion. Stripped off manifolds etc as they were not needed. When trning over i found a bit of water coming out of the exhaust port. When i took spark plug out number 2 had water in it. The engine has been standing under a sheet for a while. I got all the water out and spryed some anti rust stuff down the bores for now. The engine turns over fine etc. My question is, shall i strip the engine to check the bore for rust? Or shall i just leave it and take a chance? Engine feels nice by hand.. no notcyness etc.. Cheers

If the engine was fine prior removal then IT'S more than likely to be condensation and nothing to worry about!
just take the plugs out and pour some engine oil down the bores and keep turning it over for awhile as you have been and ONCE it's run drain out the oil and change the filter!

Bore will be a bit rusted but not anything you can do about it anyway.
If it had 5mm or so of water, it is entirely possible the headgasket has gone, your choice but if you need to do it it is a lot easier now!!
