at least with the 83 lb injectors and a t4 ive got all the right bits for 530 bhp. just need a different inlet and maybe a bit more head porting. its nice to know everything isnt working flat out to

Hi Karl isnt it?

I have never heard of surge with a T4.

I have only ran my T4 with a EECIV manifold or my new swedish style one.

My engine consumes 35 psi even at 4k with no surge.

Possibly the head or the inlet as you say?

Awesome saf

i think alan had turned the boost up abit on the actuator as it had shit loads of preload on it. and nms never got to finish the mapping as alan never took it back.

out of every company i spoke to msd were the most helpful and have a very good reputation so i went there.

I'd go for the EEC IV Inlet if i was you, the head work on mine by Karl was 2.5k really mine with a T38 on @ 440bhp isn't enough for the spec really mind you' i've told Karl to just chuck the boost at the T38 so it should be fun until it pops..

Nice looking car must be fun to drive with that power going to the back wheels.
If your going for 550 i think the EEC IV inlet would be on its limit, im having a swedish style inlet fitted to my new engine justnow to save having to change it later if i go for a T4.

the only thing that worries me about an aftermarket inlet is if the airflow isnt right to each cylinder. ive heard people say the standard ones arent right either but at least with a standard made one youve got something cosworth designed and i cant see as they would have got it far wrong. let me know how you get on with yours mate. what sort of price are they ?
