Saph looks like its gone in to fast and understeered, tried to correct and its gone wrong

Evo, dunno.. brake fade maybe? coming in to fast...

the saff and evo are proper fucked but i agree the evo must have had brake issues as it just didnt turn in properly.the z3 was a bit nasty.wouldnt be to happy if my car was under it.

and there must be a good collection of cav mk2 p/s mirrors on that corner

I think he ended up a bit further than the tyrewall, but it was the corner he came unstuck on

 

Doesn't look like Camp where Dave went off. Looks more like quarry to me, but it's early and I may be wrong.

It may also be that the white saff is Newts - one time user of this board. Crash happened at the RS Combe day in 2004? 2005?

corner is quarry and the sapph was trying to hold a power oversteer slide and possibly backed off to try and keep hold of it at the same time as sterring into it which, as he found out, was quite wrong

evo would have been better off giving the handbrake some action

i love the chavaliers that just understeer off the side of the track on exit - why do they keep their foot in?

As for the BMW bloody hell, the bloke standing by the track was fucking lucky

 

Evo was defo a brake issue, either just locked up totally and didn't lift off or brakes were faded, how bad was the BM, totally obliterating that kit car!

ah the infamous Quarry corner!

get most of your braking done before avon rise, or you will end up like most of them!

the saph, bit of oversteer, if he had kept his foot in it would have been ok, but as usual it was lift off that caused the rear end to snap back round the direction that the front wheels were fascing....

evo does look like it had no brakes, or the drive had very large kahunas cos that was some speed to be entering that corner!

that single seater, fuck me, i bet the guy stood there had a brown trouser moment as the bmw brushed his leg!

ps Daves off was at Camp corner, last corner leading onto the start/finish straight, but he missed the tyre wall and hit the concrete wall of the entrance to the pits!

i was stood about 30 foot away when it happened, pee vee off here was stood right by the barrier and got a shower of glass lol, didnt improve his looks at all tho

 

got to love the blue mk1 escort lifting its front wheel in a drift

 

oh and that scooby crash lynne posted, i seen that too, the bolt heads that are visible on the tyre wall bolting the plastic stuff to the tyres ripped big gouges out the side of the car!

was bit of a mess!
