BTTT for anyone who knows how they "fix" worn out racks.

It also needs a new front caliper n stuff, but im expecting they not Maserati specific so can get one of them easier...

Well nothing at mo, but a twin turbo Maserati coupe for cheap is hard to resist

"What do you drive?" "A Twin Turbo Maserati"

"What car shall we use?" "The Maserati"

etc etc. You see my point

NO idea where to get a rack but someone in my village as a bi turbo one that goes like utter fook !

Are they V6 twin turbo ? looks like a boxy alfa (ish) standard exhausts and sounds and goes like a jet aeroplane.

Probably as reliable as a chocolate teapot though but it always impresses me whenever I see it out and about

Yeah thats them, various versions of bodywork, various engine sizes, valve numbers, fueling type, cooling type, and power, but all V6 twin turbo.

RWD, ZF dogleg box, etc etc.

TBH i cant quite work out what one this one is, but its a Maerati Bi Turbo and says it in big letters, which is kinda good enough for me

Ive worked it out, its the 2.5 18valve (3valve per cyl) twin turbo carb fed one.

One of less than 100 RHD coupes made in the 80s too it seems, even throughout their production the RHD coupes make RS500s look common.

185bhp standard (mega restrictive exhaust, low boost, and no intercoolers) but mega short stroke so rev like fook, and 7.8:1 so can be boosted to fuck.

Shite compared to later beasty ones, but still not shy, and it says Maserati on it

Finding it hard to resist

Have you double checked under the bonnet? Remember the top gear episode when Jezza bought a Marek, Hamster a Lambo etc and then found a receipt for a sport badge or similar in the history when it blatently wasn't

Its a 2.5litre twin turbo 18valve V6. Single carb non-intercooled model.

Nothing else it can be, and ive seen under the bonnet anyhow.

Only made about 150 of them in v.rare RHD form.

Im still not getting it though, cant be arsed with it right now, shame really.
