cheers mate..

do you literally just rub the clay over a wet car then.. seems well weird that..

so once I have clayed it, I;ll dry it, then wax it, then put that quick detailing on??

OR I might just stay in bed

you wash the car

dry the car

clay the car one pannel at a time (use a lube!)

then wash the car AGAIN!

Then polish, seal, wax

the detailing is used to lube the wax or it'll stick. theres plenty of info on this sort of stuff on the rsoc site under detailing.

wash
dry
clay bar using quick detailer as lube
wax (but i use polish then a wax)
black plasctics
glass
wheels
tyres
mint car!

you only really need to clay bar if you have industrial fallout on your car.

otherwise you should random orbit machine polish it first then use a pre-wax treatment then wax.

'random orbit machine polish' this is rather than doing it buy hand ,ie with a buffing wheel but can be messy and takes a bit of getting used to if youve not used one before

breath in

Rinse off with a hose then wash I use 2 buckets one with water the other with your cleaning agent and water. Get a good quality mitt (much better than sponges) load up with suds and wash then rinse mit in the just water bucket and repeat

Wash
http://www.detailedobsession.com/cat...fc664adcea9b98

detail spray http://www.detailedobsession.com/cat...fc664adcea9b98

Then for drying a drying towel (I actually use two) fold into a square and pad the cars paint dont wipe I also add some detail spray aswell at this point.

http://www.detailedobsession.com/cat...fc664adcea9b98

Clean the wheels dont use the same mitt get another

You can now clay the car if needed. After this is when you would do any correction

anyway now to adding products... I use

Firstly the ClearKote Vanilla Moose Glaze (this is your polish) very small amounts less is more (this stage can also be machined) This has some cutting agent for the paint.

Secondly Clear Kote Red Moose Machine Glaze (this is your glaze) again very small amounts (again this stage can be machined) by now your thinking that looks good

Thirdly Poor Boys EX (this is your sealant) leave for an hour seal applied by hand smells good

lastly ClearKote Carnauba Moose wax (this is your finishing wax). applied by hand thinly I prefer this finish to the Nattys it looks wetter the nattys makes the frs flake pop and makes the car look more purple but its not my bag !

You can then top up next time you wash with the wax and maybe the time after with pb ex and more wax

then wheels I use PB wheel sealent leave 1 coat on for an hour or so over night if you can then top up the first time with 2 more coats left on for 30 mins each then 1 coat on the next wash.

http://www.detailedobsession.com/cat...fc664adcea9b98

then de fluff clean the windows I use autoglym fast glass, and tyre foam the wheels

breath out

I bought one of them drying towel thing on the weekend as its supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread but didnt get on with it.

Is there a special way to use this too.

so there is zero chance of getting the brake dust anywhere.... brake dust is really fine but really hard.
