is the engine running hot? or just the temp gauge? as my temp gauge was reading very hot after rebuild which i thought oh shit lol and it turned out to be the temp gauge sender unit on the side of the head.even though it was brand new, apparently you have to get the right colour one now have it and gauge is spot on.
hope that helps

is the rad hot all over and all the coolant piping hot (pressurized quickly?)also is the heater blowing hot if so sounds like all the system is working properly so it might be head gasket, any mixing in the oil or water or does the header tank smell fuely wioth the cap off and vapour

theres no oil mixing with the water, im not sure if the rad is getting hot all over would the fans kick in though? the temp needle is hanging around the (N) on the temp gauge nearly on the red block at the top of the gauge and with the fans going constant the needle still stayed at the top of the gauge.
