just remember dont buy 1 to 4 as the engine is still bad for crankwalk... 5 onwards or ok.. and they also suffer from ringland failiere ,this shows its ugly head only when on boost with oil in the pipes as the boost gets past the pistons so 1 to 4 or a no no mate im just in the process of stripping my 3 down 
the only good thing is evo,s or easy to work on and parts or not that expensive! but its this bearing thats all the trouble its slightly marked my crank so out its comming
this failed cus of poor lubrication mitsu now about it and only fixed after evo 5, and thers not much you can do about it on early evo,s they all fail, in the usa they tryed to take mitsu to court.
other than that there awsome cars to drive
