Default HELP, needed tomorrow...

Is there anyone in the North West that would be able to fix (helicoil maybe) my cossie head to sort the camshaft retaining caps IF one or two are found to have stripped the head. ?????????

I will be taking the cam cover of as soon as i get home from work tonight to see if this is the cause of loud tappy noise at motorway speeds.

Please Please Please if i find this to be the problem can anyone help tomorrow SATURDAY, im booked in on TRACK at Donington SUNDAY.

Whats the helicoil holding in Dave ? If its under tension then it could be a useless get you home type fix.

I did send a PM about 2 hours ago

Try RS components if you've a trade counter nearby.

birkenhead engines or m.e.p(merseyside engine parts ask for tony tell him jed put you in touch ) will do it mate but both only open half day saturdays mate
both places are in birkenhead
most engine reconditioners should be able to do it for ya or even engineering firm mate
my advice dont attempt it yourself as hole has to be dead on and as you have to drill it oversize tolerances will be tight allowing room for no errors
hope this helps and good luck
