Booked 4 nights in Dublin today for mini honeymoon til our proper one early next year ( yes we are greedy )

Can anybody recommend any good/bad places to go?

Everyone keeps saying its expensive, how bad is it REALLY?

Its cool.. anything temple bar area is cool for night life.

Winds me up when people say that, its a different country- things are different prices. I found it no more expensive than your average night out in a uk city- besides its a holiday surely the cost is irrelevant (within reason) as long as you have fun?

Lillie's Bordello. In Adam Court just off the bottom of Grafton Street.

The best nightclub in Dublin IMO, good for a bit of celebrity spotting now and and then!

Im always in dublin, as im from there. Its not that more expensive then over here i find. Temple bar is where it all happens. Had some great nights.

people say its expensive cos the prices rocketed when they introduced the euro. in relation to how they used to be

drinks in temple bar are no more expensive than london clubs

there are some nice hotels too, and good places to eat. the guiness factory is a good tour and the view from the tower bar at the end of the tour is good.

theres not really much north of the liffey, and everywhere is walkable, dont bother with cabs or buses.

st stevens green is nice and also areas around trinity college

I loved Dublin and wne to some great bars.........the names of which i was too messed to remember lol................DO NOT get cash out the cash point though it costs a bomb and you get a poor exchange rate.

We stayed in Temple Bar and was great...... best thing is to get a weekly bus and tram pass works out alot cheaper

enjoy it.......you have to make sure you go to a little irish bar with live diddly diddly music
