4 doors, lots of room for girlies, and shonky old ford turbo for that wheels scrabbling acceleration but can't go round corners and likley to break lots and cost you a fortune?
Sounds like sirs needs have progressed from RST's to a 2wd sapphire cosworth - go on, you know it makes sense- Get leather as well, then you can laugh as your mrs friends slide across the back seats ( who are already shitting themselves due to nearly going out the back window as 30psi comes in ) leaving snail trails on your leather at every island

They are good fun though.
Puzzled at all the people that have had hassle. Owned my S2 for 11 years and it's not been fault free but not bad at all considering how hard I drive it

get a decent one, get it set up and it'll be cheap as. Thats one of the reasons i got mine - ford parts are so cheap, it's simple and reliable.

i was going to get a mk6 rs2000 or something jap but i got my s2 its the oure of the ford you cant resist then when you have it it rips your tits. and when its gone you miss it. but once you drive one your hooked for life

I've got a Mk6 RS2000 and although it's alright it's never as good as my S1.
Ask anyone in the C&E Group about the breakdowns I've had with mine, it would put you off owning any cars for life. It may be 21 years old but it makes me smile everytime I turn that key.
So get the Nike Air Max 90's on Rab, some Stone Roses on the CD player, and dae it, cos it's aw guid.
