Default monkey bike

hopefully going to get a monkey bike this week but had different people saying on what i can and cannot drive license wise, i am over 21 with a full car license so can i ride a 70 cc monkey on l plates or do i need a cbt????

full car license back in the day ALLOWED you to ride a 50cc moped without L plates BUT things have change and you WILL need a cbt to ride anything now!

if you passed your test before feb 2001 you can ride anything up to 50cc anything above 50 cc you need a cbt

if you passed after feb 01 you need a cbt to ride anything.

you can ride anything upto a 125cc mate.. but u WILL need the CBT Training,,

very boring it is, u need to sit in a room for abart 3 hours while they bore u, and then they will take you on the road on a bike.. prolly a 50cc..lol

at 16 you can ride a 50cc with "L" plates and CBT

at 17+ you can ride a 50cc without "L" plates but still need CBT
and you can ride up to a 125cc with "L" plates and CBT

CBT = Compulsory Basic Training

no cbt if passed full car before feb 2001
