How the fuck did he get a connection of 3 meg ? ethernet cable reports a connection of 100mbs when you plug a cable into it, and if it was capped then matey wouldn't of got that in the first instance.
Something doesn't add up, 30k a second is shite slow m8, so it's either the network card in your machine, the ethernet cable between the router and the PC / Laptop, or, the local leprichorn's are hacking into your line![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
BT have proberbly fucked you over.
Switch to cable and be done with it

Just reinstalled windows and lost all my porn, gutted...
ran a check it went up to about 1000kb/s then started to drop but is hovvering around 300/400kb/s so something clearly isnt working right somewhere with BT...

Better than before, but not as good as it should be!
You know what the cunty thing is though, while i was reinstalling windows i rang them to see if they had capped it they said they didnt know but they would reset my profile so if it was capped it would take the cap off, so i dont know if the speed has gone up because of windows or because they have reset my profile, hate not knowing shit...
still it needs to be faster and something isnt right.
