Hey people.. finally decided to get rid of my mk3 3i turbo and all the bits i own for it..Most of the bits have sold on fleabay already and the car is going to be the last to go..

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE BLOG PF...

Anyway... im selling my bits to fund a Fireblade.. Im after an early spec 1 around 97 ish in either the black or urban tiger colours....the urban is defo tickling me tho..
anyway my question is... has any1 owned an early spec blade?? what are they like and what sort of things should i be looking out for??? was/did these bikes suffer from any probs??? also wld i bennefit from a steering damper??

Any help wld be muchus appreciated peeps!!!!

Sorry m8, can't say I know much about the early blade as mine is a 2000 bike
Saying that I know mine has shaken its head a few times when hard on the gas, but sure I rem the early blade was known for it!
So yes I would deffo say the earlier bike will break your thumbs lol

my mate has just bought a 2wd saph,see my other thread

so hes selling his r-reg blade hes owned for 4 yearswith little miles done,it is urban tiger colour and i think an rrw or something

Urban Blades are the best coloured bike Honday ever made

Here is mine in its old spec from a couple of years ago , currently undergoing better improvements ( although I did spec it as best as I could for a road bike , but theres always better )





Honda FireBlades are bullet proof , but look for the obvious like frame damage , leaky fork seals .

Best thing is just to get a test ride

Of all the bikes Ive owned , I love my Tiger the best

Yes bike would benefit from steering damper

I think its actually Burnt Orange , but its defo without a shadow of a doubt NOT an Urban Tiger , not even close to looking like mine at all
