Stainless back box with homemade system.
Restored bodywork.
F16 CR gearbox.
Superchipped. (Approx 260 bhp) Printout was with Cav Turbo donor car.
C20 LET conversion.

i like it but does it still handle as a boat as it did back in the day

 

Doesnt handle fantastic but not too bad. Its the standard sized tyres that make it slide about at the moment..

 

i'd love an SRi130 Mk2 or Calibre

I had 3 back in the day, a white E plate SRI 130 Hatch, a blue D plate 1.8 SRI Saloon, and another 130 hatch. They were great cars, me and my mates used to run them because the insurance was cheap in comparrison to say, a 1.6 Orion Ghia. (And they were faster )

My dad also had a white B plate saloon SRI, with the black/grey check Recaro's when it was only about 2 years old... Probably one of the reasons i am a car freak now
Just remember him picking me up from Cubs one night, saying "Your mums having a Tupperware party, house is full of women obsessed with plastic containers, were not going home yet". I was grinning frim ear to ear when he had it flat out on the motorway minutes later

i had an sri 130 a while back with a digital dash, laguna splitter & cut springs it used to wheelspin with me standing out side the car with 1 foot on the throttle

 

a mate of mine has a minter of a calibre with a 16v in it,its for sale at aroung 3.5k i think.

My dad had a grey one brand new years ago, some b*stards stole it twice and both times crashed it and also bothtimes got chased mid taking the wheels off it, was a shame it was a nice car too but never the same so had to sell it!

 

Looks quite nice in a understated way. Isn't that for sale at the moment?

My brother's mate had a rusty coloured, orange hatch with the matching ginger interior years and years ago, we thought it rocked.

i had one of these when i was 19,theres no mk2`s left

dont think ive ever seen one with a back valance
