Guys, how do i adjust the tickover on my CBR 600 f??? Its only ticking around 600 and sounds very slow...

 

if it's a carb model (which i am 99% sure it is), there should be a handily placed thumbwheel somewhere

my cat has a little knob just down to the right as your sat on it, by fiddling one day i found out what it was

 

Also i forgot to ask if anyone has any idea what this is.

Last night, i was just winding the revs on in 4th at about 8k revs i heard this like little bang and then a whoooooosh thats only how i can describe it.....i though FOOK chains snapped i shit myself. I came to a rolling stop and couldnt see anything at all wrong with the bike. It rode home fine but i took it steady. Had another look in garage and cant see anything that it could have been

 

ok i will go look for a little knob..something im not used to that

 

the funny nois, how old is the chain and sprokets?

mine made a funny nois and felt like the chain was slipping...

impossible i thought... until i tookt he front sprocket off to replace it

fook knows how the thing moved, there were little ridges, not teeth

 

yeah thought maybe it slipped ill check the front sprocket
