my mates just stuck a piper 285t2 cam to his rst thats running 16psi GRS blah blah
the dizzy timing is on std marks and when he comes on boost now the car is boosting but not going ie shows 16psi sounds like its doing 16psi but not and heating up quick.
then he twisted the dizzy towards the back of engine and its made a big differnce does anyone know the best angle for this to be at his cam timing is std marks also.
its std comp also

I agree, if the cam is a high lift then its going to be out on standard marks so advancing the spark via the dizzy will make a difference but not the correct way, so more than likely needs a vernier pulley and to be timed up properly
