But i was al for Beckham coming back.Ive ALWAYS been a Becks fan,i think he REALLY ups his game for England!! I dont know it many of you watch the Spanish leauge,but he has been unbelivable past month or so,and i bet there SERIOUSLEY regreting selling him now,as Barca have had a run of bad results,and Becks hasnt put a foot wrong,and pulled it right back for Real!!!

oly see bits of the game as i was workin but beckham is a great player never blessed with speed but with the ability to drill a ball 100 yds to feet who needs speed. shame hes off to the states as will prob do him no favours with mclaren. i would still play him tho as none of the quicker right wingers are as good at this time. lennon will be the successor but not for a few years yet.

Becks was the right man for the job tonight, without a doubt!

Friendly or not, the whole squad have to play well against Brazil even if they look dormant! Gerrard played a relatively quiet game by his standards, but was still voted man of the match! (When isn't he in an international, I'm no scouser but he is the most commited England player at the moment!)

You never know when Kaka, Ronaldinho etc are going to pull a bit of wizardry out of the bag!

Just such a shame they fell to a draw from a couple of schoolboy errors!!

I doubted him and still do, hes past his United best and no long gets in that wing posistion to whip crosses in. Either long balls or set pieces. Eating my words? We've had Beckham in 3 World cups plus Euros and hes/we've done fuck all. Don't forget in Germany he was man of the match against Trinidad though, what an achievement. England were mainly shit tonight, apart from Gerrards run when he got fouled on the edge of the box there was no significant chance created from open play with good passing or crossing. It was all long balls and free kicks. Beckham seems a decent bloke but if we keep playing this slow boring shit then we will be found out and it might not even be at the Euro it could be before. Crouch just makes matters worse, not his fault but the team then create even less if thats possible and hit long balls or passes again. At least downing had a shot and he did better than Kaka with it.

If that's the best performance that McClown can get from a team of top quality players, the best thing that could happen is that England don't qualify Euro 2008 and hopefully get McClown gets the sack.
