If that's the best performance that McClown can get from a team of top quality players, the best thing that could happen is that England don't qualify Euro 2008 and hopefully get McClown gets the sack.

It's beyond me how Lampard gets in the team, he really is seriously dire, also Alan Smith. Michael Owen wasn't that good either, after all the hype about his return

If Joe Cole spent less time doing fancy foot cross-overs and making himself look a cock when he trips over his own feet, I'm certain he'd get forward more often, but he definitely can't cross a ball if on the wrong foot!

Nicky Shorey for his first cap didn't disgrace himself at all

Although Beckham wasn't at his best, the England team definitely needs him IMO.

McClown has the best midfielder in the world in Gerrard, so why doesn't he take advantage of that and play him in his natural postion as an attacking midfielder
