Default Which ISP???

Right weve had BT Broadband in for a year now, first 2 months it was spot on, ever since then had intermittent connection, dropping every 5mins, had engineers out and just had another one out today, as now have no wireless internet either

ive been told by the engineer that because there is no problem from the exchange to our house the line is fine, and therefore the problem lies with BT Broadband and i need to get onto them and complain because im now expected to connect wired

had enough of their shit tbh and gonna put a complaint in and cancel it, bearing in mind i can connect wirelessly to my neighbours as they dont have security ive decided im sick of the shit customer services from BT and want a new ISP

i dont want NTL as not having cables running around the house, can anyone tell me an ISP that DOESNT have intermittent connection issues

thanks, Sarah

read the comments from think broadband forums..I would also suggest calling the tech support number on 3 occassions at different times on different days before signing as this will give you an indication of how many problems they have and how quickly they are being resolved.

you can also compare the services offered

having exactly the same problems, have been for months, plus between 1pm and 7pm i dont have a connection at all unless i phone somebody and leave the phone on, which means i cant use my house phone if im on the net, as soon as put the phone down it goes off altogether, its like some kind of dial up broadband , ive also had enough and mine and its getting cancelled, ive spoken to some real call centre monkeys over the years, but bt really take the biscuit, you really are waisting your time phoning

i know how you feel, its like fighting a losing battle, it will do my head in having no net for a few weeks till i get a new isp sorted, but not as much as it does my head speaking to the bt call centre.
