Broadband ISP poll. Who do you use???
Ive had no end of problems with my ISP for months now and am looking at switching to somebody else.
I'd really appreciate any feedback on your own ISP's.
Usual things, Reliability, Customer services, cost and speed.
Cheers

Toucan, absolute bunch of w@&#ers don't touch 'em with a barge pole!!!!
Having to setup broadband on my other line because Toucan can't even be arsed to cancel my contract and actually getting to speak to someone who has some authority is a joke!!!!
peak time speeds drop to dial-up at times and I'm paying for 2mb, and now I can't even remote desktop into my server because it keeps dropping the connection aaaaaaaarrrrgghhh!!!!
oh by the way going back to Mistral Internet who I used before and are expensive but excellent service ALL of the time
why did I try and be clever and move DOH!

Blueyonder 4mb
Only ever paid for 256k - got to love free upgrades
I don't think it's ever gone wrong POP server has fallen over a few times though, but I've still been able to use the webmail thing.
I don't think there is a DL limit either?

NTL for me, forced by the fact that I dont have a BT telephone line.
Ok service, never had any downtime but your bandwidth is capped and the upload speed is poor.

BT are absolutely useless...
being a new build I had o get my phoneline activated... 2 weeks letter the BT engineer comes round after various cancellations by BT that I wasnt informed about.. anyway, 10 mins later, qnd 75 quid for the priviledge, its activated.. get home from work to setup the broadband package that they left.. guess what it doesn work.. the havent activated the broadband fuming.. senting the router/modem or whatever it is back and they can shove it up there arse.. useless pricks
anyone heard of http://www.madasafish.com works out under 14 quid a month for a year.. so will be trying them.. still got to wait 10 days

thats who im with and all good so far. been connected almost a month now at 2.2meg. Is it £12/13 odd for 6 months then £18 i think? and a 5gig d/load per month. no bad deal!
My mate has used them for 18months with ZERO problems.
