no still no luck yet,im going 2 try the coolant temp sensor 1st,i take it its located under on the bottom of the inlet manifold in the middle is that the 1,also how much do they cost roughly does anybody know please

why don't you just take it to a specialist and have the fault codes read in the ecu .If you are running an eec 4ecu it is very smart and technically only needs a crank sensor input the rest it can calculate itself,
commonly know as limp home and error mask.This facility is great for getting you home but it makes it a pain to diagnose faults as it will substitute missing sensor data with it's own.get the ecu read
Remove the map sensor suppressor and replace with jumper wires
