My road angel 6000 gives me blackspots. But thats also Sat Nav.

all ones that dont use GPS are illeagal now... any that detect laser scatter and stuff like that... dunno how they can tell... but if you get pulled you can be fucked over!
think the road angels are alright, because they dont detect the scatter, you have to download the locations into them from a site...

was in auto express i think... or pc express... or one of the different magazines i have around the house... it was only a month or 2 old when i read it the othe week.
i have tried to find stuff on the web about it, but nothing has come up...
im sure it said they were illeagal if they just detected it without using gps...

Very easy to use, nice loud warnings. 100% relaible.
Dont use in in the heated part of the windscreen, as it performs poorly there as stated by the instruction manual.
Use it on the section where there is no heating element.

Given that Radar is all but superceeded in the UK (compared to the US where its still really common) I would wonder if great Radar detection should be a priority...
