Default Information on Wheels

Just want some advice.
I ordered a set of 18" Rondells the other day.
Today they were delivered and on the alloy it says engells and on the centre cap it says Rondells.
What does the engells mean and are they a genuine Rondell wheel.
Please help as i am very confused.

No, they're not genuine Rondells.

There is a reason- I dont think Rondells are made any more, or the company doesn't exsist.. or the moulds were brought by rondell.

Someone who knows the exact reason will post.

They use the same mould, but they're not made by Rondell. Exactly the same design exept the obvious different name stamped on the rim.

Rondells fetch more second hand, as they're quite hard to get hold of now. Funny that considering 99% of EsCoss's ran them...

Anyway...if they were advertised as Rondells then I'd be pissed off. But they were prob 'Rondells/ Engells' as I see them sold on Ebay like that

Either way, nice wheels

1400 quid for a set of wheels like that seem good to me.

I think they're advertised as rondell/engell too..

Never heard of the tires mate, sound like budget ones. I wouldn't say you've been ripped off though. They are a wide and good rim which will be dear and with brand new rubber, that's okay...

I thought it was somet like that... they aint rip offs they're the real deal just made by a different company.

If you're unsure why not contact the seller for their comment?

If you have a copy of Fast Ford from the mid 90's look at Amber Performance advertisements, Rondell's were £350 each then.
