Does the ALS turn its self off after 10secs if you don't touch the throttle like the Rally cars? The mountune bypass you are talking about is that the ISCV with the tophat?

Lauch control looks excellent

Nice but you better have to use a renforced clutch because LC does kill your standard one...

Unsure mate... its going to depend on frequency of use of course, but its something that only time will answer.

Yes, or any time you like really as its easy for me to set it to whatever you like.

The mountune bypass you are talking about is that the ISCV with the tophat?
Yes, i find them very unreliable and fickle things personally.

Lauch control looks excellent
Best fun ive had for years in a cossie.. almost makes me want another one.

Any other alternative solutions that dont cost the earth stu? As id be VERY interested. Doesnt have to fit in the Cossie TB either, as it needs to be remote mounted on my car anyhow.

They are a pain in the arse tho, like you said.
I just had the usual sticking issues with the 2 I had (tho the first one just totally failed, for some reason), mostly as they seemed quite badly made.

I took mine apart and filed it down a bit, and used to lube it up every month or so, and I never had a problem then.

Yes... i very nice Bosch valve... we have used them on rally cars in teh past with no failures, but i honestly think most cossie owners will be happy with the way WE mod the ISCV cos it works, and it doesnt stick, EVER. It even still works pretty damn well at idle.

is there a vid of the launch control modded cossie acyually launching,,,,?

does it step change the rev limit when going from launch to run mode or is there a ramp that you have set with rise time etc?

im guessing it has a switch either hand, handbrake, speed, or clutch operated, that immediatley returns it to the normal rev limit.

and the vid would involve insane wheelspin unless it was VERY grippy RWD or a 4wd- my cossie would destroy the tyres even launching in 2nd in the dry using ALS to give me boost before launching.

No mate, not yet. We need to experiment with limits to find the ideal boost for traction. A T4 at 10psi is a mission to launch. lol

No,
Launch control is on a PTM switch so when you let go, you have control back. Escort Cos owners will likely have it wired to one of the steering wheel horn buttons.

Stavros- just as a side note, how much should i aim to be paying for a descent t34? and would it be a good upgrade from my stage 2 hybrid t3? obviously i will suffer greater lag but when it does boost, it should be pretty good results shouldnt it?

have to excuse me, im quite new to this. Sometimes wonder if i should of just stayed clean standard rs turbo lol, its one thing after another
