Maram shaft turbo's
Are they always stamped 247 on the end of the shaft or is it with an M on the flapper valve also.

By the flapper i guess you mean the wastegate penny?
if so, that does not mean is a maram shaft.
as far as im aware it should say 247 on the shaft of the turbine wheel, like mine

They don't all carry the markings. It's not reliable to say that if it doesn't have the markings that it's not Maram 247.
