hi,

My Cossie is currently insured through the RSOC insurance scheme at a cost of £315 per year this is for a stage 1 and im allowed to do upto 3000 miles per year.

now...... i have just had the stage 3 conversion and the RSOC will no longer insure me under there "classic" scheme and now they want double the price to insure it even though im only running 300BHP whereas before it was 260BHP.

Im 33 years old with full NCB although im currently using the NCB for my daily driver, i have no points or convictions.

Could anyone suggest a good insurance company for me to try and get the cost down from £600, I only use the car 6 months of the year so some sort of laid up policy would be cool, plus 3000 miles per year is more than enough for me.

any suggestions and /or contact names and numbers would be great!!

also some examples of what you guys are currently paying would be most helpful

Ive just gone with swinton mate on there classic policy as a second car clean license 34 years young and a 1500 miles per annum limit and it
costs me £209 per year for my 2wd saph.Hope this is of some help to you.

I pay £210 f/c ,allowed upto 5000 miles . Mines only a stage 1 ,i have 0 ncb too
