Default Bake potato....

Right another one for the cookers How to make the perfect baked potato? Just reading Delia and said to put little bit of olive oil, then sea salts over it, and cook for 1.5 hours


I thought i read somewhere you had to put it in some foil?

Fancy Baked Potato with curry tonight Havent had it for years

PMSL not if done right, they are awsome! Have not had one for donkeys, and got nice MArks tined curry here and though why not chuck in baked potato...


Used to have it years ago from one of them men with proper oven, and was awsome

microwavw potato for 10 mins and then stick in oven for 1 hour. Job done. Lovely baked potato.

PMSL AJ, Suppose im having mix of Irish and Indian and a bit of Welsh (curry is lamb)


Well whacked it in oven s per Delia and see how it comes out, if doesnt turn out well will just chuck it in the nuke box

PMSL Lee, cant belive you dont like a proper baked potat with crunchy skin and a fluffy in side. Proper, i know the nasty micro ones are hanging...

no Rhys im not a spud fan mate....dont really like Mash potato either.

Im quite funny though with mi snap, dont like most Veg, hate salad, dont like cheese etc dont like kidney or liver...id eat my own arsehole before those two

I agree, sort of. I prefer my veg raw, including sprouts and broccoli and I don't like liver or kidney. But I wouldn't prefer to eat my own arsehole.

How dya know if you aint tried it?

Veg for me, all i like is Cabbage, green beans,beans, peas (NOT GARDEN PEAS,,, YUK), roast spuds, leeks, and thats about it ..

Taste shit compared to proper way though. Just whack it in oven and forget about it for hour and half.

the BEST way imo is...

Microwave for 10mins (make sure you pierce it!)
wrap in foil
Stick in pre heated oven (gas mark 7 for us) for 45-60mins

VOILA! al la baked 'tato! (WELL nice with Tesco's tinned beef curry, trust me, you will LOVE it)

I used to have one for lunch at school. Could come home as I only live 2 mins walk away, 10mins in the microwave with Primula Cheese on top (can't get it here )

Used to get them Pickwicks potato oven in the town on a Saturday sometimes too, delicious! I know what I am having for lunch now!

I microwave potato till fairly soft then give it a coat of oil and chuck in oven on high heat until skin is crispy, then fill it with home made chilli and cheese

best jacket filling ever imo
