FORD F*CKS ITS CUSTOMERS
Well Ford have really hacked me off.
They have....
Virtually destroyed Jaguar,
Selling cosworth,
Selling Jag F1 team,
Stopping their WRC next year ,
Not making the New Fiesta ST Turbo,
Not making the cossie focus (AFAIK)
Lets hope they buy Subaru and shaft them in the same way.

Lancer EVO RS
Fords a money making company and guess they can see on the worldwide market they make more money by not fucking with small volume fast cars, and just sticking with normal family stuff.
Same reason they dont bother with WRC, the costs outweigh any small advetising gains.
Never understand why people have a love for a normal maintream car manufacturer anyhow. Like certain cars, but certain makes is jus bizare to me

Dont worry about Subaru, GM own them and in the states are already selling impreza estates as SAABs with a new bonnet/bumper/grill/lights package.
Modern SAABs are just re engineered Vauxhalls, cant be long before Subaru follow.
After all how many standard model impreza's do you see?
A car company cannot live on fast saloons alone.. ask Mitsubishi!

Phil4x4 they sell impreza estates here and SAAB estates, I think you got that wrong.
i also think you're wrong if you think Subaru is going to stop selling/making the scooby here. Import Racing and lifestyle has become So huge that it would be the worst business move for them to make! Ford could've had a piece of the action but they stepped on shit and missed the train! Let's hope that at least the Cosworth N/A focus does well here!!

Actually its Customers fuck Ford. They didnt buy enough cars
Its a commercial operation. You want to get rich, dont feel sentimental about things
As for small volume Performance cars, Audi (RS4,6) Merc (Amg anything) BMW (M's) Peugeot (GTI) VW (Gti) Subaru, Mitsi, Nissan etc You can make it work if the products wanted. Ford messed about so long the demand went elsewhere, so when FRS was finally unveiled no one cared anymore.

15K+ Super Poster!!
Is it just me, but only BMW, Audi, Subaru, Misubishi and Mazda and a few others are keeping their motorsport bits, are still working on them, still making some seriously fast motors and now ford is dumping all that??
What are they thinking about????
Didn't the sales of the Focus RS mean anything? That there is a whole nation of us out here craving a new all balls no frills turbo performance ford?
Its turning into the granny marque. Sensable cars only
Thats it I'm going Jap, who has an Supra for sale......

I can honestly say I don't give a fook!
Ford did well when it counts to me, in the 80's when my car was built. If I went out and bought a Ford now it would be because I want a decent boring car as cheap as poss.
I'm with Steve too on the marquism, it's like people who are fans of Vauxhall just because of the Lotus Carlton.
The RS parts being sold off is a shame but perhaps it at least means those parts will be in the hands of specialists who care about them and we can get frank answers about availability. And look on the bright side if there is demand people will start producing the parts, look at the remade RS500 fog grills for example, and the RS500 splitters.
In all fairness the word on the grapevine is that Cosworth have been letting Ford down on their quality control when it comes to engines. Hence why Aston Martin wont be using them any more.

Focus sold out and people waited a silly amount of time for one, didnt ford realise from this that demand IS there if they can deliver a car that is worthy of an RS badge. Personally if i want to buy a new car, i dont want a long wait.
Pulling out of WRC, well as ford offer no sports car or wrc type car what are they gaining by being there?
Interesting that Mitsu hasnt completed a full timetable of the WRC this year and just chose a few events, Lancer EVO still sells and appeals though.
Jap or 2 wheels is the way forward, why wait for ford as steve said run of the mill manufacturer that only caters for ya nan
Isnt the Skoda now badged as a VRS

Mitsubishi have withdrawn from the WRC this season due to the company making massive losses this year and they have had a massive product recall in Japan causing them further embarasment in there home country.
Rumors the other week said Jag was going to be rebranded Ford F1 and they were going to drop there WRC team for this. Hopefully now Jag/Ford F1 is not going to happen ford will now confirm they will compete in the WRC next season. One of the reasons for them not competing was that they needed to develope the new shape focus WRC and they did not have enough funds available to do this. Also Ford WRC is funded by ford Europe, they make a profit per season but Ford Europe never sees this as it was used to fund other projects/nicked by the yanks and this pissed ford europe off. Rick

what i'm saying tho is that if Ford decide to stop producing the RS marque it'd make no difference to the value of an RS's as they aren't making any any more anyway.
