Im pretty sure you cant begin work before 7am and no later than 11pm other than in emergencies. Also why cant he just leave the bloke a key while he's at work? They are the ones being unreasonable, if they dont listen do what nilrem says

be polite first. But your neighbour should really have given you a warning first. Even if i have a couple of mates round for a bbq or something, i go round to the neighbours first to apologise in advance if there is any noise!

He is starting at 6.45 PM not in the morning. Sounds like a mate doing a favour after work or a cash job.But pretty sure there noit allowed to make noise after 11 maybe be wortth checking but i would have a word first just to see if you can sort it that way

I know its difficult for the neighbour as he works nights, but thats his choice! he should have arranged to have the work done at weekends or just finish at say 9pm..

Either way it would piss me off

deffo not a cash job this guy is a proper trades man he dosnt know them lot next door , he apparently took 5 weeks at someone elses house , and the job was shite its all come loos 1 year after it looks crap

thing is im really busy at work too at the min and im doing 12/13 hr days

this is the guy who drags his bin out at 4.20 am on a thursday so the bin men can get it , when he comes in off a late shift

we dont get on as he's a truck driver and we reported him for bringing his truck home and starting it up at 4 am 4 nights a week for work , he used to park it on the drive , and it wasnt a transit job either proper tractor unit hgv

I feel for you i really do, we used to live in 2 bed downstairs flat and the people upstairs were ignornant C*nts, used to come in from work and slam doors and have there 'mates' round at 4am..

We also have 2 kids and at the time Finley was a baby and chase was 2, In the end we came to blows Literally!! as they were just plain rude and offensive.

We moved last June, best thing thats ever happend!!!

yes i did read the full post but found the above statement i made to be more of a surprise that the question asked originally.pointless question to ask really as if its bothering you you go sort it out rather than asking people on a car forum what to do . obviously i didnt read it properly though as i have now noticed that they started at 6.40pm and not am as i first thought
