Doh Sorry to hear that Si, it was going so well when you took me for a spin the other week
I can understand your frustration of rebuilding it again, maybe it is time to move on like you were saying in Weston...
Hopefully you will get some decent money for the bits or just put a normal 4x4 lump in with a T3 in and sell it complete?!

money pits have to go at some point matey. my mrs had a Bravo HGT for a year or so that cost us a fortune, but it was a great car and fast as fuck, sounded amazing too, but when the clutch started playing it went straight on ebay (it had cost us over Ł1000 in the year we owned it, it only cost Ł1500 for us to buy the thing)
It gets to a point you have to cut your losses and get something else

Such a shame mate
I think its really been only bad luck....it HAS to turn at some point so get another one built but use it on lower boost for a few thousand to double check everything before banging the T4 back on.

i've had as much engine luck as you sib i think, the cost of them yb builds ouch, i reckon the only reason i'm still banging away is under Ł50 for a new block so us vauxhall followers can do a high spec build for >Ł2k if rods and pistons are needed. i recently had a block problem that was nobody's fault, and had to do a rebuild again, engine out , new block , bored out/decked, gaskets, engine back in, oil and filter, running again after 6 days, it cost me Ł93.
your pocket will be better off without it.

Sorry to hear its game over for ya cossie mate
when i first saw it at interpro i couldnt take my eyes off it simply because of it's character!. Its got so much personality, you probably think i'm weird now lol But there's so many stories to be told with regards to your car
It looked wicked going around track at combe, will be a real shame to break her, but onwards and upwards as they say

Shame to hear that Si
Mine is currently sitting broken and has been since last august
Sometimes you just need to put them away and forget about them for a while. I do have a wee smile when i open the garage door every so often
I bought a new engine not long ago so just need it fitted so i'll be back
