Default quick question zt acceleration torque = very poor

just a quick question.

i had my 2.1 zt setup on megasquirt at northampton motorsports, they set it to run a bit rich untill i have covered 1000 miles as it was a newly built engine.

had this done about 6 months back.

question is its been troubling me since i got it mapped by northampton is that im not happy with the torque on the car it just dont go as quick as it should? its running a new turbo technics stage 2 hybrid turbo,

boost is set curently at around 12 psi for now.

my main concern is the acceleration is very poor concidering its a 2.1 zt?
anyone shed any light what i could maybe check or why the acceleration might be poor.

ive had a drive of my mates standard 2.0 mondeo and its about same torque?

somethinks surely wrong? would megasquirt cause this'?>

anyone else on here with zetec turbos comment on there torque, as i know mines loseing power on pulloff for some strange reason.

If im reading correctly then your on a base map(so to speak) for running in purposes??. You've pretty much answered your own question with they set it to run a bit rich . So to answer yoiur question your car needs the mapping finalised.

it's all relative. It probably runs rich to be safe, before time is spent getting it perfect.
