I spoke to Mike etc today as this year was my year off and they had 1000 advance tickets and 822 cars booked on stand..

The sheer size of the event prooved this..

Track action was slow... but...

The Sunbeam was doing 12.1's

Terry Davis in the Mk2 cossie did a 10.7 early on but had problems- I didn't see him to find out what was going on but Karl said it was transmission probs???

Nutter and Andy looked like they were driving Miss Daisy

Well my first two runs my clutch ratchet played up and my pedal was left on the floor.

My last run i did, i changed gear a little less aggressively and managed a 12.8
