87-93 sierra's all the same glass, obviously only some were heated, don't know which models.
If you phone around you can usually find someone who will do it without you having to pay any excess as they pass it on to insurer but put doiwn that you have paid it!!
They are around £120+ VAT 0924GNH is the number.

No don't go to fords!!, the number is from my buds firm, the glass is made by AUTOGLASS, with 1 year warranty.
A remove and refit with SEALING is £40(cash), but if ANY chips it WILL crack!!
I would just shop around, then bater them off one against the other, keep the details as they will ask who you spoke to etc to get that cheap quote!!

go find a car with a hot screen thats on ebay for pennies and get it fitted
it's going to supply you with the lom too so thats an added bonus (it's all stand alone with 2 wires going to the ecu to up the idle when it's on and battery + and - )

I've done some GL's and GLX's with heated screens before now....
Phone up this lot - Master Auto Glass - 0208 531 9219, and ask for Ben, Marie, or Mick - tell em Matt from Autoglass "across the road" gave you their details and they might be able to do something on the price for you.
They will be able to supply you with a full brand new screen - so less to worry about having a second hand one breaking taking it out and putting it in yours (it happens, even to the best of us ) and also you will have a years gaurantee on the heater elements aswell...
Then find yourself a local fitter who wants a nice cash job to fit it for you. For reference, I would probably only charge £40 or so to fit it (depending how poo the job was - some are worse than others )

Easy to do if you aren't doing it properly Dojj I have to admit, I have done it before myself
But with new removal techniques and tool, that is now a thing of the past - no more dash cutting

The old method is to "slash" the bottom out with a long knife. Problem is the Sieraa dashes have raised corners, most of which have warped somewhat by now aswell, which makes the gap between the dash and the screen very tight. The screen corners dip down a fari bit behind the dash aswell. So it's very easy to do it when "knifing" them out - as said, even I have done it before now
But these days I use a thin guage square wire to remove the bottom of the screen (if it's a remove and refit, ie, saving the screen and not breaking it, I'd use the wire to remove the whole screen) and there is virtually no chance of cutting anything that way
