Why would you want to? They are stupidly expensive to replace and are no better than my std Saff in my experience.

FRS brakes on a RST would massivly over brake the car! unless you intend on doing high speed runs and braking from 150mph they just aint needed IMO.

I had std sized discs on my RST (280mm) and it out braked a few things on track You can make the std items work as well and sometimes better than larger ones if you get the right set-up.

I had tarox grooved and drilled discs, ferodo ds2500 pads, abs removed, braided hoses and dot 5.1 fluid and kept the rear drums very very well adjusted and they were awesome on track!

I've got Pagid grooved discs and 1144 pads on the front of the Saff and actually find them BETTER than the FRS on both road and track, yes the Saff's are "modified" if you like, but retain the original calipers.

I just expected the FRS Brembo's to be far better, they're not.

Are you still on std pads in the FRS?

Have you had the brakes apart on the FRS? mine are std and the orginal discs and pads from the car was new, I took mine apart last week and removed the lips off the discs, filed the pads flat again and refitted it all and they were 25% better then before and much more like i expect brakes of that size to feel.

have focus rs 324mm disks on my dax rush using std s2 calipers. In fact the std brakes on the rush are xr4x4 which are same calipers and hubs as rs turbo.

you space the 324mm disks with 1mm spacer between the disk and hub to ensure clearance between disk and track rod end as the focus disk sits further in. you then space the caliper out by using a plate about 10mm thick and the hole centres 32mm apart this moves the caliper carrier out by 32mm. you then mount the caliper carriers onto the plate with 11mm spacers. you will also need to grind the carrier caliper a little to allow the greater dimater disk to rotate without contact and a small amount of grinding on the caliper body itself.

the whole thing is prob not as good as using focus calipers but it fits under a 16" wheel which focus calipers will not and the brakes are a major improvement over standard 260mm

there is about 5mm clearance between 16" wheels and the standard calipers as detailed above. alloy calipers need more disk/wheel clearance but i reckon that focus calipers would alos fit under 17's

Why not use 300mm ST170/Mondeo Mk3 brakes?

Bit of work and they'll fit under 15s.
