Bye Bye Car!
no i havent crashed it or blown it up
i've just had my car collected by Lennie @ LTP to have the suspension fixed including new Polybushed up TCAs, New Poly Topmounts, and coilovers which will hopefully cure all the problems i'm having with the car
its been gone abot 30mins and i miss her already
oh well, hopefully itll all be sorted out for me and i'll be a happy bunny thisafternoon

If they are AVOs, they come with rear springs that are WAY too hard for the car and will mean oversteer is mental in the wet and ride quality on bumpy roads very poor.
Also, given the weight of the engine, would you not want to specify slightly harder springs on the front than for a 2.0 GLSi?

I've got Avo coil overs on my saph cos 4x4 and the car is far to hard!! You get bumped about in the front seat, what a pain on the arse! Its scary at high speeds.sometimes I think its gonna bounce off the f**king road.I've recently tried adjusting everything to see if I can settle her down but I'm seriously thinking of changing the set up.

Des,
Firstly start by backing the damping adjustment right off to the softest setting and come up one click each time both front and rear to find something that is acceptable. Most people think hard = best, which is just not true - the tyre has to stay in contact with the road to do it's job .
Then if this is still too poor for you, change the rear springs for something softer. As standard they come with 200lb springs on the rear, which is even harder than what Martin Hadland runs on his virtually race-spec car . Try something like 170s and work up or down from there. The fronts aren't too bad, it's just the mismatch that causes the rear end to jump all over the place.

fook me he werent lying when he said it was bumpy
back is to low n needs to come up a tad (well, about an inch ) then i can work on what settings i like with harshness...
clonking and grinding noises are now all gone still catches the arch liner when turning left, but thats easily fixed with a junior hacksaw
