Default Mondeo ST220 - Buying advice needed

A friend of mine is considering getting a Mondeo ST220.

Has anyone got any buying advice or knowledge of the car or anything that he should look out.

All opinions and advice on the car welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

Didn't Fast Ford do a buyers guide for the ST220 a few issues ago? Might be worthwhile asking Simon or Dan

Stonking cars mate, had one for around a year and a half and did 25k with it and only prob had with it was the wiring for the hego sensor on the back bank of cylinders chaffed through and put the engine management light on
New sensor fitted and prob cured

Quite hard on tyres though if you use it like it should get used
Its one of the best handling cars i've driven in the dry, different story in the wet though and you can drive it like a rear wheel drive car in the wet

Fantastic performance and loads of lazy torque, they really fly when you get them up the revs and are great to drive.

I would def have another one and only sold it as needed something bigger as have 2 fairly large dogs and needed more room in the back for them.

Here's my old baby.
