I got towed off it a couple of years ago (well my MRS did!) and the AA picked the car up, took it home and gave me a hire car for the 8 days I had left.
Its grim when something happens to your motor there and all you want to do is do some flying laps! (Good luck to all that are there-I'm F**king jealous!!!)
They did make sure it was a proper Escos before they towed it home though, because if it costs more to get the car back than its worth they leave it there and give you the car cost! Good idea if you've got an old nail to get rid of!

Anyone seen any pics of Graham (SHITBOX) black es cos Reg E9 COS, put them up if you have. if anyone one speaks to any one out there get him to ring me,got a little boy here really missing his dad, cheers guys.

ok an upfate for you 
shitbox has been accused of dumping something on the track that caused a biker to come off, we're all confident that this is complete bollocks, but still it's a bit of a pisser, he had to pay a 300 euros to the coppers, so he might be a bit hesitant about going back out
hopefully it will all be sorted tho
i HEARD (ie chineese whilspers and could be bollocks) that mike R has an issue with the engine bottomend wise hence why its getting recovered back to the UK rather than being driven.
i've also heard that SteveRW has had suspension failure hence why he;s not going back out. could just be an iffy wheelbearing tho, as that was the story earlier thismorning.
we've got a few laps on camcorder, as ginge has brought his along, hopefully get some posted on youtube soon
anyway, ive only got a few mins left on my T-Mob hostpot so i better go, hopegully someone will post a full ring report on tues/wed

Is amazing what hidden costs can be lurking when it goes pear shaped. My mate hit an Audi TT on his bike after the car left the road and put a dust screen up in front of us (5 of us, but he was unlucky enough to be at the front). He had to pay to have the car fixed (fair enough) then pay to get his bike towed (fair enough) then pay 125 euros to clean his oil off the track where his crankcase broke (just about fair enough) then he had to pay the police 300 euros for careless driving (?????). They didn't even turn up until 1/2 an hour later, how do they know what he was doing?

they can't prove anything, so he'll probably get the 300 euros back. the way it works is you pay the fine BEFORE the court case, and if youre found innocent they give you a refund
basiclaly, there was about 2-3 litres of fluid (which at first was water, then hydralic fluid, then something else...) and the bikers say that it was dropped by graham, and one of them came off on it.
thing is, graham's car isnt missing any fluids
plus one minute they say it was a black car, thena sliver car... etc. etc.
basically, if a local biker falls off, zee english are gonna pay for it
aparently there were 2 witnesses that saw it happen (the bikers) well, a few problems there, 1) they cant have seen it happen if we know it didnt 2) it was on the exist to the carousel now anyone who's ever been round there will know, that as you go round, you're NOT looking at the exit
oh, and the 300 euros was for "leaving the scene of an accident"
WTF, hw can you leave the scene of an accident thats behind you and you can't see?
