Shit, that is bad news about Mikes car, hope its nothing too serious.
Yougdan- shame thats the slow down straight as you could easily get top speed out of your car down there, On a quiet day I could hit 145mph down there, I'd come in and go back out on warm tires and brakes and my god did it make a difference to the earlier stages of the circuit.

The Goonybus as cool as it is was asking to break down lol its well tired and its gets used very hard, fair play to him for even talking it there lol
Hopefully there will be no more breakages throughout the rest of their trip

JonnyBravo To be fair mate Stu and Pervy have put alot of work into the buss for this year, it might look a total shed but thats the whole idea.
The engines just been put on coilpack and stage 3 etc, tbh the way Stu was talking to me thats the last think he thought was going to break.

He was down at my house last thursday and that was the first time he had driven the car with new suspension, brakes and tyres so certaimly looks lik ehe has taken to it

I got towed off it a couple of years ago (well my MRS did!) and the AA picked the car up, took it home and gave me a hire car for the 8 days I had left.
Its grim when something happens to your motor there and all you want to do is do some flying laps! (Good luck to all that are there-I'm F**king jealous!!!)

(I managed just over 9 1/2 mins in the cossie with no power steering-thats why it ended up getting towed!)Some of the guys and girls out there will see this place!
They are very helpful! Sorted my mates Legnum VR4 when he crashed it on the ring! Couldn't do much for mine so it got towed home! Hence the thumbs down from the culprit!!

But you can't really compare the times, as you have different traffic on the ring....
Also I think lap time chasing is totally misplaced at a weekend where sooo many cars are on the ring....
Luckily we didn't have any big accidents yesterday!
