Boxing fans... watch this video
Some people remember Lennox Lewis as a bit Chinny....
I think this video sets the record straight!!!
He took some ENORMOUS punches from well know big hitters over the years.
Great Chin, great boxer, great champion!

Never been a fan of Lewis and every time he fought I wanted him to get knocked the fuck out, flew the candian flag in the oylmpics and then comes back to England years later and says he's a Brit, stroll on he even sounds like a yankee
I read in the paper he's making a comeback lets hope Klitsco puts him on his arse this time around

I'm gutted I couldn't get tickets for the boxing at the Millennium stadium...don't rub it in with reminding me it's happening
Mmmmm Joe Calzaghe, mmmm. I hear though it's actually a sport too, and not just an excuse for me to perv?

tyson would beat lewis!?(in the day) dont make me laugh
tyson was a mega hitter with a great chin but just didnt have the height, mass, reach, boxing skills to beat lewis.
lewis came a close second to ali in my eyes, ali spent his life fighting no brainer boxers, foreman being the best example, all the tools that lewis had but not the brain power that ali had for boxing.
ali and lewis are similar in the fact that they have lots of ways to win fights, tyson had a lashing upercut and a good chin that was it!he beat so many of his opponents with fear before they even got in the ring!

seriously - i didnt rate lewis, when he gets proper hit he crashes to the floor, IMO tyson would beat lewis with his power, deadly uppercut and speed in the early 90's

unfortunately for lewis he peaked when everyone who matted were way past their best..
dovboy...stop talking utter shite
by saying tyson only had a uppercut and a good chin just shows how ignorant you really are
tyson knocked people out with a lot more than just his uppercut
try do some research and see just how cus damato and kevin rooney trained him and you will see all his combo's were done to a number system and there was a lot more than the uppercut on the list
it took lewis 8 rounds to knock out a old man who just stood there for god sake
sorry for all the smilies but your comments are just hilarious

regardless of who is fighting we always end up talking about what would happen with lewis tyson in thier primes.
i'm a lewis man i'm afraid
as for the 8 rounds thing thats just like lewis's style,he doesnt wake up till the 3rd then a few rounds on the end of his jab before the knockout or stoppage.
ok,i can back down on this and say there was more to tysons boxing and i admit he was an owesome fighter(top 5 of all time maybe)but to fight a highly skilled olimpic gold medal winner(dont mention audrey)with a huge reach and weight advantage would have been very tough for tyson.
and i aint ignorant,i grew up with boxing having a father that was a scottish ameteur champ who later turned pro and doing boxing myself in my teenage years i do know enough to have an opinion on the sport.

Can Lewis beat Tyson?
Lennox Lewis wants a big-money bout with Mike Tyson after dethroning Hasim Rahman.
But how do the heavyweights of boxing measure up?
Come on everybody get a grip. Tyson could barely lay a glove on Botha, he had difficulty dealing with Nielsen, and he won't get near Lewis to land a good shot. Lewis will pepper him with the jab for the night and stop him within seven rounds. Tyson isn't tough as far as taking punishment goes, he loses heart very quickly and gets flustered. Tyson in his heyday would have had difficulty with a prime Lewis, never mind now.
Greg, Ireland
It is real interesting reading how so many British folks are still so enamoured with Tyson. We WAS a great heavyweight, but that was over 11 years ago. He has been mediocre ever since the Douglas fight. And he had trouble before Douglas and with big fighers with jabs, like James Tillis, Bonecrusher Smith, Tony Tucker, Razor Rudduck, and company. Since then, truly weak and slow fighters such as France Botha and Neilson have actually been beating him until he landed a big shot.
That said, Tyson still hits hard, and can knock out anyone if he catches them early. So he does have a chance against Lewis early, but that window disappears within three to four rounds. Lewis has a very mediocre chin, but if Lewis fights smart and tall, he should batter Tyson and then take him out by seven or eight. Tyson has little left. Most Tyson fans have been fooled, and don't want to see the truth. But then Lewis can be so unpredictable that Tyson does have a chance. Could I be more clear?

lewis was a great fighter - follow that vid up with the one a couple down - lennox's ko complilation!!
just a shame about the rahman fight in SA as no-one will regard him with a strong chin despite all the big shots he took in that vid!
