For those interested in vuaxhalls, lol
Andy and Gary with the purple corsa that took the honours in last years fwd TOTB shootout have got it back together on the new spec now and taken it back to the pod.
The conditions are obviously not as good as when they set their PB last summer of 11.8@121 at pod on a scorching day, but they ran an 11.95@127 with a .2 increase in 60ft time, so certianly looks like they are on course to improve on it this year
Im still nagging at them to change their nitrous setup slightly as im convinced there are power gains to be had from that, if all goes according to plan I reckon they could be seeing 130mph terminals and 11.5 quarters by the middle of summer.

I love it too but also kinda hate it because it could seriously kick my ass 
awesome times!!
although it's lucky some of the guys in the pic don't drive it
it may only manage 13sec 1/4's with the extra ballast

The guy they beat in the final had just dipped into the 11s in qualifying, (11.9 IIRC) but just couldnt match Andy's reaction off the line, as soon as you go to head to head shootouts the driver matters as much as the car!
If you watch the DVD, there wasnt even half a car length in it by the end of the strip, andy got away first and the crx started trying to reel him back in but didnt quite manage it by the end of the strip despite is slightly better pace.

And they choose andy as their driver

Loved watching this at TOTB, follows same lines as what we do when we go. Go there for a laugh and if you can beat the big boys even better
