RSOC show in Aberdeen
Is anyone planning a trip to the RSOC show in Aberdeen this year?
Can anyone let me know when its on as would like to take a look down to it this year as not been since it was first held in the Exhibition centre a few years ago
Hoping to pick up a few goodies for my escort

Last time it was there, we ended up in this little bar, not knowing it was a doubles bar (Obviously if you order a single you get a double).
We spent quite some time on double vodkas before we realised they were quadruples

Will do Chop, am planning a trip down in couple of weeks as bought a set of wheels from a guy in Stoney and said would get down as soon as i could to collect them.
Will pm you beforehand and maybe make arrangements for a meet and a beer ot twa eh !!

Last one i was at out at Ardoe house was fooking excellent and was superb weather, in fact it was almost too hot that day.....most unlike Aberdeen!!!!

wasnt there a similar situation last year? itt looked pretty much like there wouldnt be one until about a month before?

The NE RSOC are at the mercy of the AECC!
Last year, they had their date and BOYZONE or some shite parachuted in for a concert and offered the AECC more money and got turfed out!

hopefully it will be august time, maybe the old s1 will be finished by then 
if it doesnt get the go ahead a passionford meet would be good also if not better

the guy simon that owns jap performance is a good mate of a mates as he works offshore with him etc, ive often thaught about a rolling road day or something there for the fords of passionford as i reckon he'd be up for it like, plus its a dyno dynamics rolling road

Hi all.
Here's a statement from our group regarding our show.

It is with much regret and annoyance that the Aberdeen Show will NOT be at the AECC this year. To say we have been gesumpted is an understatement. Some big fish that has been organising an Emmerdale Extravagance for the last 7 years has promised the AECC the earth and they have taken the bait. We were invited to attend, but the date was Saturday 9th June – this is really not suitable as Lightwater Valley is on the Sunday. Also if we were to attend we would be outside in the main car park at a cost of £250.00 for a maximum for 5 Cars.
We as a group will look at the possibility of another venue, possibly back to basics again, but at this late stage in the year and with the RSOC diary quite full we will not make any promises.
If nothing this year – you can bet there will be a show next year.
Again our apologies to those who have supported us for the last 16 years. Hope to see you all at other events during the course of the year.
