My thoughts are im fucking fed up of seeing this bitched about on forums by people who havent realised that the money is coming from NON government sources.
People spend millions building fucking race tracks and no one complains about that being a waste of money, so if they want to build a mosque with their money instead its not a waste either.

Ken Livingstone is planning to use tax payer's money to build an enormous mosque costing an estimated 100M in the docklands. What do you think about it? Wouldn't it be better to spend the money on a new hospital or improved transport facilities?? BIGGER THAN ST PAULS!!! The plan is for the mosque to be so big that people flying in from all over the world for the 2012 Olympics will it see it as the biggest landmark in London, bigger than St Pauls, Westminster Abbey or Wembley Stadium

My thoughts are... if its government funded then its wrong, but if it isnt funded by tax payers then good on them

n we couldn't build a massive CoE over in one of their countries to hold 70,000 people
i've got one near my house, well 1 mile away actually it looks fucking horrible, not in keeping with the resty of the buildings
and they have speakers all round it so when they prayer it gets broadcast over the loudspeaker n i can here it from my house! 1 mile away
why is that not noise pollution?!!?

Why cant they build a huuuuge Christian Church for Church of England followers to use instead? Surely it would be better for the England being as traditionally its our primary religion and could be used as a national landmark?? - and i bet more people would be for it.

I live in London - only a few miles from some areas that are very ethnically orientated.
How have I got my blinkers on? I guarantee you I've had far more exposure to this sort of thing. I'm just not ignorant enough to tar an ethnic group with the same brush because of the actions of a minority.
I'm only third gen British. Should I fuck off back to my country then, or am I okay to stay because I'm white?

you assume its down to colour, i dont give a shit about colour, its the piss taking that goes on and how the genuine british are put 2nd best
1 typical example off top of my head, me n the mrs went to get a new cat on sunday
the woman had the police round earlier, made her remove some pig ornaments out of her window as it was offending local muslims!
