Default Finishing New Paintwork

Question people - just done a few touchups on the ring joe baxi before the trip - all done out of a can as its cheap & I wasnt arsed about a proper job - just wanted panels matching better & the last years ring trip painted so it didnt rust.

Anyway....its all primed, flatted down, painted & laquered now and I know its going to be flat as fuck when its dry unfortunately - how do I get a half decent shine from the job??? G3 & water, 1800 grit - then polish up normally??? HELP please guys...

If there is plenty of laquer on it then i would flat it a little first (use your 1800) then G3 with water (machine polish if you can) then as you say, normal wax/polish should sort it.
