Default How heavy is a cossie engine (block/sump & head)

Not looking for a weight in Oz. or Kg or anything just if two people can lift it?????

No i don't, but I pay the mrs's JJB gym membership so maybe it'll come of some use afterall...I'll just get her to do it
So is that a no then? I managed to lift the bottom end but it wasn't exactly light.

Yes - Me and my bro moved my engine (200 block) around and in and out of a van quite easliy.

We did have my GF following us though with some softwood incase we needed to put it down quickley

Just make sure you get the end with the stat housing as its easier on the fingers ...

Its ok to move around the workshop or in and out of a van but your foooked if you want to try and lift it in or out the engine bay, there will be tears!
