Default what sensor for stack boost gauge & best prices

ive just bought a stack 0-4 bar boost gauge brand new but im unsure if it has the bosst /pressure sensor with it, it deffo has all the wiring harness & shift light etc etc if it does come with the sensor its even more of a result

what sensor do i need if not? stack lists a few, none of them cheap

The sensor is about £200 I had to buy one...

sensors are still availabe form demon tweeks etc, but theres 1 for £158 and 1 or £200+

just want to know which 1 it uses (part number)

My boost gauge is a ST400 and the manual states sensor ST453

However mine came with the ST452-109 sensor so I think you can use either

ST452-109: 0-5 Bar Absolute Pressure Sensor with Low Freq DSP Interface (0.5% FS Total Error Band over -20C to +80C) Dash-3 Pressure Fitting (e.g. Boost)


ST453: 0-3.5 Bar Absolute Pressure Sensor with Low Freq DSP Interface (1.5% FS Total Error Band over -20C to +80C) 1/8NPT Pressure Fitting (e.g. Boost)



I've got to be honest I've still not got used to the absolute pressure.. very confusing

Just been on their website and finally found the same info now you've posted it up at the same time lol


just got to find the cheapest place to buy 1 now prices are shocking but i spose if you want the quality you gotta pay for it


whats the differance in absolute pressure can some 1 explain or il google it tommorow

Subtract 1 bar (atmospheric pressure) from the total to get the available range it will read up to.

yeah i may look in to that fozzy, when do you go again

if aboslute is atmospheric -1bar il be ok with the 0-3.5 bar sensor a il only be reading up to 2.5 bar max
