Default MOUNTING MAP SENSOR

Want to move my map sensor,was thinking of welding a plate to my alloy strut brace.would it be ok mounted there,or does it need to be mounted on steel for an earth ?

You could do that and run an extra earth?

Has to be mounted with the tube pointing down though...

Mines mounted on a ally bracket, the cars not run yet but its the normal way on the rush.

I guess it earths as one on the mounting holes has a steel tab going into the sensor body.
