Default Interior door panels for track car...where from

am needing some plastic sheeting or something similar to make some interior door panels for the 205 track car........where would I get some from? any ideas?

Do what ive done, get some standard door cards, remove all the material and padding etc, smooth them all down and then have them flocked!!

Why have any doorcards?

Surely if you want to save the 0.2kg the cardboard doorcard weighs leave it off totally, and if you want something covering the metal, leave it on?!

A sheet of plastic (or in some even more comedy cases, alloy) aint gonna weigh less than the standard carboard and fabric ones.

Kelv any pics of that mate as im away to get my dash flocked plus the rollcage door bars wont get passed the original door cards

demon tweeks do a 3.1m x 60cm sheet of mud flap material... Ł18

any good? about 2mm thick

I would suggest using some 1.2 mm thick aluminium.

I have just flocked a set of door cards for a BTCC team and that was what they had used.

Try the super stores as they sell fin sheets of plastic or alloy etc.
Tis where I got mine to do me mk4 doors.

Mine are made from alloy i saved from the hands of the pikeys at work, its the old pump number boards

Its about 1mm thick and is lighter than the orignal door cards so happy days
