I cannot upload a previously used avatar picture. ??

Tried form my local harddrive but it says it has to be a jpg/gif/png file - It is

Cant load it from a website like I had it before.....



Got this error message and get it for any avatar file


Could not write avatar file to local storage. Please contact the board administrator with this message

Its not just you, ive had trouble with it for ages! Have spoken to Petrucci about it via PM and he thought he had sorted it but i think its still broken! I got round it by uploading the avatar to Photobucket and linking the URL! Hope this helps!

 

I think its because I am browing through a proxy server and its
encrypting the file names.

Will try it later from my own computer.

Have to use a proxy server as where I am, the firewall bans the
word "PASSION" if used in urls.

As I said above, I think its to do with the proxy server I am forced to use
to get around the word "passion".
