Default FAO SECS and other people too that might know!..LOL.

If your about

I am using the 5 bar map sensor,do you have any idea on wiring?Iknow it plugs straight on the 2wd loom but do any wires need swapping?

Also the eec4 tps do i wire it as per 4x4 tps ie swap end wires round on 2wd loom?

Next question is.....the eec4 throttle body has a different connector to the 2wd/4x4 for the tps and the iscv, can i get those connectors????Anyone have them?Ford dont.

Thanks

Right,

The info I gave was from other sources but refers to the amp connector pin numbers.
(MAP SENSOR CONNECTOR)

Looking at 3 (THREE) BAR sensor with inlet hole facing you and connector at bottom......

From left to right

+5 VOLTS / GROUND / SIGNAL

The connector outline profile, has the single ridge pointing down....

If you wire the 5 bar up wrong you wont break it as I have done it !

Phil, You have the EEC4 type TPS, I dont have info to hand but generally,
Centre is the signal (to ECU pin 17)
The outer pins are either earth (11) or +ve (30) swap these two until you get it right.
Select 4x4 in the sensors setup on the S8.

If you purchased a monitor without a cable it was not from me or
not new.

Please send a mail to simon@s8ecu.co.uk with address details please.

NO ONE by the name of Alex (if that is your name) has asked me for a cable.
As for the name steve long dont know that one either.

Only one person AFAIK is waiting for a cable and that is MATT B.

alex xr3 modded, That name DOES ring a bell.
He did PM me a while back but I lost the PM when the board crashed a few months ago.
As I said, mail me an address and I will see what I can do.

Shame you cant go out in Simon's car (because of the distance involved).....because I'm sure he would gladly take you for a spin

Anyway, his Es Cos is a very good advert for the MD240.....absolutely amazing spool up from quite low revs......Iv'e driven it a few times now and it sooo impressive,,,,,,,and he's not using huge boost either

Makes a T4 feel like a truck turbo..........lol

Gus,
Yours isn't a T4 . Pretty pleased that my T4 spools up as quick as a T3/4 though - goes to show that the design remit was achieved .
